From 11am to 3pm on Thursday 28 April, the Lewisham Irish Community Centre will be hosting a health event. This event is organised by Irish in Britain as part of their “Vaccine Le Chéile” campaign, reaching out to those who have yet to receive any doses of the vaccination with evidence-based information to enable them to make positive informed choices for their health. There is also an opportunity to receive a booster or spring booster vaccine.
The event will also cater to anyone wishing to have a general health assessment, with blood pressure and cholesterol checks, and the opportunity to meet local Lewisham and Irish community support groups. We will have taster Pilates and walking cardio workouts sessions from 12:30pm.
The event is free and open to all, and food and refreshments will be provided.
