A message from our CEO

Hello, and welcome. We’re delighted you’re considering joining the Lewisham Irish Community Centre.

We have been at the heart of the Irish community in Rushey Green for 30 years, in that time we have evolved to support the changing needs of both the Irish community and the wider needs of our service users, friends and neighbors.

We are an ambitious charity that strives to bring the best of Irish warmth, support, and culture to the borough of Lewisham. You can read more about our ambitions for the years ahead in our 2021-24 Strategic Plan – lewishamirish.org.uk/our-strategy

We are a community centre with Irish roots but you don’t need to be Irish to work with us. Our staff play a pivotal role in helping us deliver for the whole community and we warmly welcome applications from anyone who shares our values and vision.

I hope you enjoy reading more about us and our work, our strategy and impact. We hope to speak to you soon.

Kathleen Sheridan – CEO
