At the Lewisham Irish Community Centre, our staff and volunteers do all we can to relieve poverty, sickness and distress. Giving the warmest of Irish welcomes – we help the many people from diverse backgrounds who live in our borough and surrounding areas– those who face real challenges in their lives.
Each year, the Irish Centre provides :
- 1720 free community meals.
- 1200 free breakfasts.
- 585 advice session providing support and advocacy for 250+ clients.
- 252 activities for older people.
- 2750hrs of volunteer opportunities.
- 77 playgroup sessions.
- 40 youth club sessions.
We rely heavily on donations and the generosity of others to provide this much needed support. Please help us now with a regular donation to continue our work.

Your monthly donation of £5 could fund a weekly phone call to a vulnerable client.
Your monthly donation of £10 could fund 2 weekly meals delivered to someone in need.
A monthly donation of £20 will cover a basic food hamper/voucher for someone in crisis.
