Some of you will remember about 10 years ago when many of us got together and knitted a large quilt which we raffled and donated to St. Christopher’s hospice, we would like to begin this project again, this time you will need to knit the squares from home and we will collect each week when we deliver meals and hampers.
The wool and needless activity packs will be sent out by the 30 July. We will work on the project through August and have the completed quilt ready by September. We would like to use the quilt this time to support our own charity, the Lewisham Irish Community Centre.
